Philadelphia Wedding at The Kimmel Center

Katie and Hank’s wedding day felt like a dream. The forecast was threatening us with rain all day but, by some stroke of luck, it held off at all the right times. The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia was the perfect place for Katie and Hank to get ready. You could see the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul where they would get married later that day from their hotel windows. After everyone was dressed and ready to go, they walked from The Logan to the cathedral. The ceremony was beautiful and sooo sweet. Afterwards, everyone hopped on the trolley to go to The Second Bank and Washington Square Park. Spending this time with Katie, Hank, and their wedding party was the best part of our day. Everyone had so much fun. We then headed over to The Kimmel Center for cocktail hour and the reception. After photographing Katie’s sister’s wedding in Washington DC a couple years ago, I knew the toasts at the reception would not disappoint!! They were incredible and left everyone teary-eyed with how heartfelt they were. After dinner, the party started and I’m not sure anyone sat down for the rest of the night!!
